Mission Statement
"Customer Satisfaction is Our Greatest Delight".Kisakuen was founded by Kikuji Watanabe in 1933.
Kikuji’s motto was "Making Joy".
When the second-generation President of Kisakuen inaugurated, the company came up with the current day mission statement that emphasized the "Delight" in Customer Satisfaction. Kisakuen was the pioneer in achieving what is now known as "Customer Service".
Once you master the fine art of serving tea, you will appreciate the true meaning of hospitality.
It has long been the tradition in Japan to drink barley tea in the summer and green tea in the winter. In families living with three generations under one roof (something that has become quite rare in recent times), there may be as many as five different types of drinks consumed on a daily basis.
In addition to our main product, which is green tea, Kisakuen has also marketed an amazing black tea, oolong tea and a health-enhancing tea. All of our products are on display in our showroom located at Greenpia Makinohara Tea Estate, which was completed in 1995.
In 2007, Kisakuen was awarded the Pioneer Award for their awareness campaign by the World Green Tea Association.
